If you want to know how you are now, look at the decisions that you have made before and if you want to know HOW your future will look like, look at the decisions you make NOW. You are a product of your decisions. You either make your own right decisions or carry out the decisions that others have made for you. Whatever you are today you are the result of the decisions that you have carried out.
Decision-making is usually an unconscious activity that happens in your mind without you knowing that you have already made a decision. There are very few decisions that you make consciously with deliberate focus on setting a goal or an objective. There is a mechanism that you have evolved during your life by which you make decisions. This mechanism has a process but most of the time, does not include all the steps that are needed to be taken. It usually goes from the first step to the final step while the process of decision-making is something like moving from A to Z. The decisions that take the usual and normal process are likely to be great decisions; other decisions that do not go through the process generate unexpected negative results.
Most of us are not trained in the art of constructive decision-making and therefore, our decision-making is affected by our emotions and previous experiences. If we have unconsciously developed the right mechanism, we make right decisions; otherwise we need to learn the art of decision-making and the process that it takes.
Our health, wealth, position, status, job, attitude, performance and many other things are produced by our decisions and therefore, our decisions make our lives.
Today if you look at yourself, you realise that your health is the result of the decisions you made regarding your lifestyle and the food you eat.
If you look at yourself you realise that your wealth is the product of the decisions you made.
If you look at yourself you know that your job and position were the results of your decisions that you made some time ago.
If you look at your relationships with others, you know that they were related to your decisions.
What you have today and what you do not have today, are all the products of the decisions you have already made.
Whatever kind of life you have today could have been much better if you had made better decisions.
